About the Author: My Writing Journey
She is the author of several books, including: * World War II: The story of a German Boy’s Survival; This historical account details the experience of Alex Herman’s family during World War II, based on interviews conducted by Malunat in Germany.
As an author, I believe that every story has a unique voice, and my goal is to bring those stories to life through my writing. Whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, spiritual, or poetry, I aim to create meaningful experiences for my readers while sharing my journey as a writer.
In addition to her published works, the author enjoys mentoring aspiring writers and regularly attends literary events to share her passion for storytelling.
The author’s dedication to craft is matched only by a deep curiosity about the world, fueling stories that inspire readers to embark on their own adventures through the pages of every book.
Sherry Malunat is an Ordained Minister, Certified Life coach and author who began writing after retiring from a 35-year career in the corporate world.
She is the author of several books, including:
- World War II: A novel based on a true story of a German Boy’s Survival: This historical account details the experience of Alex Herman’s family during World War II after gathering information from family in Germany.
- Light vs Dark: Weapons of warfare: A book exploring the spiritual battle between light and darkness, emphasizing the use of mental and spiritual “weapons” in this warfare.
Maluna’t personal experience and background in ministry and life coaching are reflected in her work, which often features themes of faith, perseverance, and overcoming challenges.
She has held the position of Director of Women’s Ministry at Vader Assembly of God church and has spoken at women’s conferences and retreats. She was married over 52 years before the passing of her husband, (whom the WWII story is based upon). She has two children, four grandsons and 3 great-grandchildren.
